David P. Folkenflik, Esquire

David P. Folkenflik was born in Northern New Jersey, and resided for several years in central Ohio, before moving to Pinellas County as a teenager. Mr. Folkenflik is a graduate of Countryside High School, in Clearwater; St. Petersburg Junior College; and the University of South Florida in Tampa. He received his law degree, with Honors, from the University Of Florida College Of Law at Gainesville. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar; and is admitted to practice in the State of Florida Courts, and the United States Federal Courts. Mr. Folkenflik has been AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which means he has been determined through peer review to possess "the highest level of professional excellence". He has also received awards from “Top Lawyers in Florida”, as well as “Tampa’s Top Lawyers”.

Prior to entering law school, Mr. Folkenflik was employed by the U.S. Government; first as an Investigator/Reviewer with the Office of Federal Investigations, an arm of the U.S. Office of Personal Management, in Washington, D.C., and later as an Adjudicator with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, in St. Petersburg.

Although Mr. Folkenflik does have experience in many areas of the law, his practice now concentrates primarily in the areas of probate administration, estate planning matters, as well as accident and injury law, for his many clients. He has never represented an insurance company.

When he's not working, David enjoys spending time with his wife and extended family, including the "kids", a Yorkshire Terrier and a cat. In addition to doing weekly pilates classes, and regularly paddleboarding and kayaking around Florida, David is a big sports fan, who enjoys watching NFL and college football and baseball. He is also a soccer fan, following both the American and English leagues. David is also a bit of a health food "fanatic" who has been dabbling in organic cooking, and loves shopping at local farmers' markets for fresh foods in his spare time.
